Chaim Grade Sampler

  • The Chatham Synagogue 1536 County Road 28 Chatham Center, NY, 12184 United States (map)

This event is a showcase of work by Chaim Grade, whom Elie Wiesel praised as one of the greatest Yiddish novelists, and others call "the Yiddish Balzac." Reflecting the rich panorama of Jewish life in Lithuania between the two world wars, Grade's prose and poetry will be performed (in English!) by TCS/NT members Robert Zukerman, Bernie Kukoff, Lucile Lichtblau and friends at the synagogue. Desserts and refreshments will be served. All are welcome. Admission is $15.
