Judaism and the Satanic

  • The Chatham Synagogue 1536 County Road 28 Chatham Center, NY, 12184 United States (map)

The TCS Continuing Education Committee is pleased to offer Judaism & the Satanic, a participatory workshop on Jewish conceptions of the satanic. TCS member Judd Maltin will provide Kabbalistic, magical, and mystical texts of Jewish thought and practice and will lead us through exercises and discussions to show how pre-modern perceptions of the satanic present themselves in our contemporary life and culture.

The workshop will be held on three consecutive Thursdays: May 11, 18, 25 from 7-8:30 pm, at the Synagogue. Members and non-members are welcome, and you can also attend the course via an online feed. All readings are in English; no prior knowledge is required. For information and to sign up, please contact:
